Dear Ayers Parents/Guardians,

So much of our work with students has its foundation in the rich relationships we create, mold and sustain. The same idea holds true for those with whom we work, collaborate and support. Since the start of my position as Principal on July 1st, I have sat individually with 49 educators from Ayers - all of whom have painted an illustration of top-notch professionalism, a devoted interest in student success, and an enduring willingness to do what it takes to ensure every child is met with a sense of hope for their own acceleration in learning. I am filled with excitement as we begin a new school year together and I continue to discover more about all children at Ayers and the families, such as yours, that support such a wonderful place to learn.

Dear Ayers Students,

Hold on! Summer isn’t quite over yet, but we’re working hard to get things ready for you. As your new principal, I want to let you know that I am looking forward to meeting you. Have you ever been the “new kid on the block”? Maybe you know how that feels. It’s exciting, refreshing and a little adventurous all-in-one. I’ve been working hard to get to know your teachers here at Ayers and soon enough I’ll begin to learn all about you. Together we will make our Ayers school community the best it can be through respectful acts of kindness. Are you up to the challenge? Shiny waxed floors, sparkly desks, teachers that can’t wait to see you, await. Until then, keep on reading, keep on exercising and keep on enjoying the sunshine. We’ll see you soon!

A few reminders:

  • August 15th - Please join us for a Principal Pop-in from 2:30-3:00 pm along with Year Book Pickup and a PTO get-together at 3:30
  • August 29th - School Begins for Ayers Elementary School
